Our Story
Nestled in the heart of Dewey, Arizona, Bradshaw Mountain Middle School (BMMS) has been a cornerstone of academic excellence and personal growth for decades. Our journey reflects a commitment to adapting and evolving to meet the changing needs of our students and community.
A Rich History of Growth and Adaptation
- 1987: The campus on Turquoise Circle officially became Bradshaw Mountain Junior High School, initially serving 7th and 8th grade students.
- 1996: In response to the growing community and educational needs, Bradshaw Mountain Jr. High became Bradshaw Mountain Middle School and expanded to include 6th through 8th grades, providing a robust middle school experience.
- 2010: The school returned to the 7th and 8th grade model to focus on preparing students for high school.
- 2024: With a renewed emphasis on creating a seamless academic journey, BMMS proudly transitioned back to serving 6th through 8th grades, offering a comprehensive middle school experience designed to engage, inspire, and prepare all students for success.
